The Scarborough Woburn EDA or Electoral District Association of the Conservative Party of Canada is the organization which acts on behalf of the Conservative Party of Canada locally.

Key responsibilities of the EDA include:

  • Fostering a unified presence for Conservative Party of Canada supporters within the local community.
  • Contributing to the development and promotion of Conservative Party of Canada policies while growing party membership.
  • Nominating and supporting a Conservative Party of Canada candidate for elections.
  • Engaging in fundraising activities to support both local and national initiatives, including election-related fundraising.
  • Developing and maintaining a local election readiness plan, while providing continued support to the Conservative Party of Canada candidate during election periods.

The electoral district of Scarborough – Woburn (Ontario) has a population of 110,589 with an estimated 68,327 registered voters and an area of 24 km2

About Our Riding

Consists of that part of the City of Toronto described as follows:

  • commencing at the intersection of Highway 401 (Macdonald-Cartier Freeway, Ontario 401 Express) and East Highland Creek
  • generally southeasterly along said creek to Highland Creek
  • generally southerly along said creek and West Highland Creek
  • southerly in a straight line to the GO Transit rail line at approximate latitude 43°45’13″N and longitude 79°12’17″W
  • westerly and southwesterly along said rail line to Eglinton Avenue East
  • thence westerly along said avenue to the GO Transit rail line; thence northerly along said rail line to an electric power transmission line
  • northeasterly along said transmission line to Midland Avenue
  • northerly along said avenue to Highway 401 (Macdonald-Cartier Freeway, Ontario 401 Express)
  • easterly along said highway to the point of commencement
